Dynamic weight bearing : New incapacitance test
Measuring the Postural Equilibrium (weight bearing) on freely moving Mice or Rats - an efficient alternative to traditional incapacitance tests for your research on analgesia/nociception.
Static weight bearing: Incapacitance Test
An easy and non pain-inducing solution to measure the level of discomfort in the injured paw of small animals like rats and mice – independently of operator.
Automatic Dynamic Weight Bearing
The advanced version of our Dynamic Weight Bearing Test: faster paw identification, based on a video solution taking advantage of the most advanced algorithms of morphologic analysis in dynamic conditions.
Rodent pincher - analgesia meter
An alternative to the Randall-Selitto Test - primarily developped as an analgesia meter for Nociceptive tests
Paw Pressure Analgesia Instrument
For the Randall-Selitto test - to evaluate drugs for analgesic action
Rat Paw Pressure
For evaluating mechanical pain sensitivity in rat: the Randall & Selitto test is based on determination of the animal threshold response to pain induced in the paw by the application of a uniformly increasing pressure
Electronic Von Frey
A quick and easy solution to find the sensitivity threshold in rodents
Dynamic Von Frey
A new instrument for assessment of touch sensitivity by small rodents - easy to use and with built-in thermal printer
Von Frey Filaments
A set of 20 monofilaments based on the Semmes Weinstein monofilament set - featuring retractable filaments to protect the filament and allow the investigator to carry a few around in a pocket
Plethysmometer
Follow the evolution of the inflammatory response experimentally induced in rodents and screen potential anti-inflammatory or anti-oedema properties of pharmacological substances
Cold Hot Plate Test
For testing animal's sensitivity to pain resulting from exposure to heat or cold: the Cold Hot Plate is an innovative instrument opening new investigation fields for your analgesia research.
Thermal Place Preference, 2 Temperatures Choice Nociception Test
An operator independant test to study pain thresholds in rodents (mouse and rat) by assessing temperature preference (comfort zone) - a new tool for your analgesia/nociception research
Thermal Gradient Test
This Operator Independant Thermal Gradient Test is a new analgesia/nociceptive research instrument to demonstrate place preference / temperature comfort threshold on rodents (mouse and rat).
Tail flick meter
Particularly sensitive for studying the analgesic properties of pharmacological substances
Plantar Analgesia Instrument
A remarkable advance in methodology for assessing pain sensitivity in laboratory animals
SMALGO : SMall animal ALGOmeter
Our new analgesimeter specially designed for small animals.
A MUST for osteo-arthritis and pain studies.
A quick and reliable instrument to assess threshold sensitivity of the animal
when applying a progressive force.
Automated Forced Swimming Test in Mice
A Sensor Based Automated Forced Swimming Test (FST) with User / Expert comparative scoring analysis option: a new instrument for your research work on anxiety and the effect of anxiolytic drugs using mouse models
Forced Swimming Test for Rats
A common behavioural test for assessing depression in rodents and testing the efficiency of anti-depressants drugs and treatments.
Tail Suspension Test
BIOSEB' Tail Suspension Test system is the only full automatic test in the world! It is a fast and reliable way for testing psychotropic effets of drugs (anti-depressants,sedatives).
Aron Test or Four Plates Test
THE FOUR PLATES is an EXCLUSIVITY From BIOSEB/EBI - it is a fast tool to evaluate anxiolytic substances
Elevated plus-maze
Assess anxiety-like behaviour in laboratory animals (rats/mice)
Black & White Test Box
Comparison of anxiolytic drug-induced ease of exploratory activity between an illuminated compartment and a dark one.
Vogel's test
For testing the effects of anti-anxiety drugs anxiolytic with the ability to increase response rates suppressed by delivery of response-dependant punishment
ActiV_Meter: Bioseb's Actimeter for Rodents
Our new activity meter (or actimeter) : Activity and Locomotion of rodents (mouse and rat) in the home cage, an accurate and economical instrument
InfraRed Actimeter
Used to Measure SPONTANEOUS motor activity in an open field by mean of photoelectric Infra Red beams
Grip strength test
An easy way to objectively quantify the muscular strength of rodents (mouse and rat), and to assess the effect of drugs, toxins, muscular (i.e. myopathy) and neurodegenerative diseases on muscular degeneration.
This force assessment is widely used in conjunction with the ROTAROD motor coordination test, since a normally coordinated rodent will show a low score if its muscular strength is low.
Rotarod
Rotarod provides an easy way to test the motor activity in rodents. Central nervous system damage, disease effects on motor activity, drugs administartion, fatigue … can be assessed by measuring the time during which the animal will keep on walking on the rotating bar
Activity wheel
An easy way to quantify rodents Spontaneous Activity in their home cage environment. Particularly well suited for the mouse. Measurements include: Wheel turns, average speed, acceleration, total time in the wheel, ... all recorded with the period of occurence.
Treadmill
As for Humans, TREADMILLS for rodents are apparatus to study a “forced” motor activity. They are used to study long or short term effort, fatigue, cardiac rehabilitation, walking and running movement, knees and other legs joints, VO2/VCO2 metabolism…..
Foot misplacement
A unique machine for the detailed modeling of walking and its disorders in mice and rats, with respect to motor and psychomotor skills and cognition.
Startle and Fear System
A polyvalent system for conducting both fear conditioning and startle reflex experiments
Rodent thermometer TK8851
BIOSEB's new thermometer TK8851 is combining accuracy of electronic and simplicity of reading with a large readable screen and a great number of functions - an ideal tool for all your temperature measurements on rodents (rats or mice).
Rodent thermometer TK9882
BIOSEB rectal thermometer with built-in printer is combining accuracy of electronic, simplicity of reading with a large backlighted screen and a great number of functions and accessories for an exact and fast measure of temperature.
Infrared thermometer
Contact Less (IR) Temperature Measurement for small rodents (mouse and rat)
Spatial place preference box
An experimental chamber developed with the aim to optimise place preference and aversion studies in small laboratory animals, especially mice
Bioseb CIS Software
A NEW software for increasing the repeatability of nociceptive tests: while recording the reflex respond the software help the operator to improve his skills with the instrument, as well as to invalidate off-limit results.
